My name is Kirk Nichols, founder and craftsman behind Whiteoak Forge. I've been blacksmithing and bladesmithing for over 16 years, driven by a passion for turning raw steel into functional works of art.
Founded in 2020, Whiteoak Forge was built on a commitment to traditional craftsmanship, quality materials, and attention to detail. Every piece that leaves my forge is handcrafted, whether it's a custom knife, Damascus blade, sword, camp tool, or one-of-a-kind forged item. I believe tools should not only perform exceptionally but also tell a story and last for generations.
My work combines time-honored forging techniques with modern materials and heat-treating methods to create blades and forged goods that are both beautiful and dependable. From the first hammer strike to the final sharpening and finish, each project is made with pride and dedication.
Beyond the forge, I am actively involved in the blacksmithing community through the Mississippi Forge Council, where I've served in leadership roles and helped promote the craft through demonstrations, education, and events across the Southeast.
At Whiteoak Forge, my goal is simple: create honest, handcrafted work that reflects the skill, tradition, and spirit of the blacksmith's trade.
Thank you for supporting handmade craftsmanship and American-made forged goods
